What you need to complete onboarding: Your company/property name, a WhatsApp-enabled mobile number, property address, one profile photo (your hotel logo or exterior), and bank account details for payouts. GSTIN is optional.
Registration Steps
The entire process — from creating your account to going live — takes less than 20 minutes. Here's exactly what happens at each step:
1
Create Your Vendor Account
Go to the Vendor Register page and sign up with your name, business email address, and a password. No payment details required at this stage. You'll be redirected to onboarding automatically.
2
Complete Your Business Profile
Choose "Hotel Vendor" as your vendor type. Fill in your company/property name, contact phone number (must be WhatsApp-enabled — you'll receive booking alerts here), and your property address.
3
Upload Profile Photo & Bank Details
Upload one profile photo — your hotel logo or the exterior of your property. Then enter your bank account name, account number, and IFSC code for receiving payouts. GSTIN is optional but builds trust with GST-registered travelers.
4
Review & Sign the Vendor Agreement
Click "Complete Onboarding" to open the agreement modal. Your commission structure is shown here (20% for standard rooms, 22–25% for suites). Check the acceptance box — an OTP is sent to your WhatsApp. Enter the OTP to digitally sign. A PDF copy of the signed agreement is emailed to you immediately.
5
Await Admin Approval
After signing, your account is submitted for review. The Andamanly team typically approves new hotel vendors within 24 hours. You'll be notified via email once your account is active.
6
Add Your Hotel, Rooms & Go Live
Once approved, log in to your vendor dashboard. Add your hotel property (name, island, area, check-in/check-out times, description, amenities, photos). Then create room types with pricing and date-based availability. Your property is now live and bookable.
Note on hotel photos: During onboarding you upload one profile photo. After admin approval, you add full hotel galleries (interior, room types, amenities, views) through your vendor dashboard when creating your hotel listing. There's no limit on the number of photos per hotel.
Optimizing Your Profile
Properties with complete, detailed profiles receive significantly more bookings. Here's what makes the difference:
Photos (Most Important)
• Add as many photos as possible — each room type, bathroom, view, pool/beach access, restaurant, reception
• First photo = your best exterior or hero shot
• Use natural light — no flash photography
• Recommended: professional shoot (₹3,000–5,000 one-time investment)
• Add new photos seasonally — fresh photos signal an active listing
Amenities & Description
• Mark every amenity accurately (WiFi, AC, hot water, etc.)
• Write room descriptions that mention the view and proximity to the beach
• Mention included meals (breakfast, half board, all-inclusive)
• List nearby attractions with walking/driving distance
• Set accurate check-in and check-out times
Pricing Strategy
Andaman has pronounced seasonality. Hotels that use dynamic pricing earn significantly more annually than those with flat rates.
Season
Months
Pricing Recommendation
Peak Season
Dec – Feb
Base rate + 40–60%. Book out 4–6 weeks in advance. Can command premium.
High Season
Nov, Mar
Base rate + 20–30%. Strong demand, steady occupancy.
Shoulder Season
Apr – May, Oct
Base rate or slight discount (–5 to –10%). Offer breakfast inclusions.
Pre-Monsoon
May
Base rate –10 to –15%. Incentivize with free activities / transfers.
Monsoon
Jun – Sep
Base rate –30 to –50%. Accept minimum stays for guaranteed revenue.
Managing Bookings
Once live, your vendor dashboard gives you full control over your property's bookings and availability.
Bookings List
See all upcoming and past bookings with guest names, dates, room type, and payout amounts. Filter by status: confirmed, processing, cancelled.
Inventory Calendar
Block out dates (for maintenance or direct bookings), set room availability per date, and adjust pricing for specific date ranges.
Payout Tracker
View pending and completed payouts. Each payout shows gross booking value, commission deducted, TDS, and net transfer to your bank.
WhatsApp Notifications
Receive instant WhatsApp messages for new bookings, cancellations, and payout confirmations — no need to check the dashboard constantly.
Important: Always keep your calendar updated. Bookings made on Andamanly are binding — if your calendar shows availability but the room isn't actually free, you must honour the booking or arrange an equivalent room. Repeated cancellations can result in suspension.
Getting Reviews
Properties with strong reviews receive significantly more bookings. Collecting them is straightforward if you ask at the right time.
1
Ask at checkout — The moment a guest is happy and checking out is the best time. "We'd love a review on Andamanly — it really helps us."
2
QR code card at reception — Print a small card with a QR code linking to your review page. Leave it on room tables and at the front desk.
3
WhatsApp follow-up — Send a polite message 1–2 days after checkout: "We hope you enjoyed your stay at [Property Name]. If you have a moment, a review on Andamanly would mean a lot to us."
4
Respond to all reviews — Good or bad, always respond. It shows future guests that you care about their experience.
8 Tips for Success on Andamanly
Keep your calendar accurate
Update availability daily. Stale calendars lead to double bookings and cancellations.
Respond to inquiries within 2 hours
Travelers compare multiple properties. Slow responses lose bookings to competitors.
Add all room types
Different travelers want different rooms. Dormitory beds attract backpackers; deluxe rooms attract couples.
Use seasonal pricing
Dynamic pricing maximises revenue in peak season and drives occupancy in slow periods.
Include breakfast in off-season
A complimentary breakfast is a powerful conversion tool when travelers compare similar-priced properties.
Upload new photos seasonally
Show monsoon greenery in October, clear sea in December. Fresh photos signal an active listing.
Offer early check-in as upsell
Many travelers arriving on morning flights need early check-in. Charge ₹300–500 for this — both sides win.
Keep amenity list up to date
If your pool is under maintenance, mark it. Guests who arrive expecting a pool and find it closed leave negative reviews.
