Andaman tourism is booming — and increasingly, travelers research and book everything online before stepping onto a plane. If your dive center, vehicle rental, or ferry operation relies entirely on walk-ins and referrals, you're leaving significant revenue on the table. Andamanly bridges that gap.

Now research and book online before arriving
The traveler journey has changed. Someone planning an Andaman trip searches for "best scuba in Havelock" or "vehicle rental Neil Island" two to four weeks before arrival. If your business shows up in those results with a clear listing and easy booking, you capture that customer. If not, a competitor does.
Who This Is For
Andamanly supports three types of non-hotel tourism businesses. If you operate any of the following, you can list and start receiving bookings:
Activity & Tour Operators
Registers as: Activity Vendor
Scuba diving centers, snorkeling tours, sea walking operators, glass bottom boat rides, kayaking, deep-sea fishing charters, jet ski operators, island day tour operators, Baratang trip organizers, and licensed tour guides.
Vehicle Rental Operators
Registers as: Vehicle Vendor
Scooter and bike rentals, car and SUV hire, tempo traveller services, airport transfer operators, full-day and half-day cab services. Vehicle vendors are registered per island.
Ferry & Boat Operators
Registers as: Ferry Vendor (Private or Government)
Inter-island private ferry services, government-linked ferry operators. Select your ferry type (private / government) during onboarding — schedules and inventory are managed per trip from the vendor dashboard.
Running a hotel or guesthouse? Hotels have their own registration path and dedicated dashboard. See our hotel listing guide for the complete walkthrough.
Platform Benefits
No upfront cost
Free to list. Andamanly earns only when you earn — commission is taken from completed bookings, never charged in advance.
Transparent commission structure
Before signing, you see your commission percentage, TDS deduction, and net payout amount. No hidden charges, no surprises after a booking comes in.
Instant WhatsApp notifications
The moment a traveler books your activity, vehicle, or ferry, you get a WhatsApp message with customer name, date, service booked, and payout amount.
Automatic payout on confirmation
Bookings auto-confirm 12 hours after payment. Once confirmed, your payout is transferred directly to your registered bank account via Razorpay — no manual request needed.
Inventory management dashboard
Manage your availability calendar from the vendor dashboard. Block dates, set daily capacity limits, and pause listings during maintenance — all from one panel.
Fully digital onboarding
Sign your vendor agreement digitally via WhatsApp OTP. No printing, no courier, no travel to offices. The whole process takes under 20 minutes.
Vendor Signup & Documents
The onboarding process takes under 20 minutes. Here's exactly what the form asks for:
Required in Onboarding
Business name and address
WhatsApp-enabled mobile number (for OTP signing and booking notifications)
One profile photo — your business logo or a cover image
Bank account details — bank name, account number, IFSC code
Ferry vendors: select ferry type (Private or Government)
Vehicle vendors: select your operating island
Optional but Recommended
GSTIN — builds trust with business travelers and corporate groups
Activity/service photos — added when you create listings after admin approval
Certification copies (PADI/SSI for dive operators) — useful to mention in your listing description
After approval: You'll add detailed service listings (descriptions, photos, pricing, and availability calendar) through your vendor dashboard. Onboarding just sets up your account and signs your vendor agreement — the listings come next.
Creating Great Listings
Your listing is your digital shopfront. A compelling listing converts browsers into bookings. Use this formula for every service you add:
The Winning Listing Formula
What
Describe exactly what the experience is. "30-minute intro scuba dive at Nemo Reef with certified instructor" beats "Scuba diving experience".
Who It's For
Mention who can participate. "Suitable for non-swimmers and first-timers aged 10+" immediately removes purchase hesitation.
What's Included
List everything: equipment, guide, transport, photos, lunch, insurance. More inclusions = higher perceived value.
What to Bring
Tell customers what to wear or carry. Reduces no-shows and day-of confusion.
Duration & Meeting Point
Clear logistics remove friction. "Meet at Havelock Jetty 2, departure at 9 AM sharp."
Managing Availability
Your inventory calendar is your single most important tool. Keep it accurate — it directly affects your revenue and reputation.
Set daily capacity
Configure the maximum number of bookings per day or per time slot. Overbooking is worse than turning away one customer — the platform enforces your limit.
Block unavailable dates
Going for maintenance or taking a break? Mark those dates unavailable before travelers try to book. Blocked dates are invisible to customers.
Plan monsoon months
If your activity doesn't run June–September, block the entire monsoon period in advance. Travelers see realistic availability rather than booking and getting cancelled.
Your Vendor Dashboard
Once live, your vendor dashboard gives you a real-time view of your business on Andamanly. What you see depends on your vendor type:
Activity Vendors
Total activities listed
Islands your services cover
Activity types in your catalogue
Bookings received (with status)
Vehicle Vendors
Total vehicles in your fleet
Active (admin-approved) vehicles
Upcoming inventory dates available
Bookings received per vehicle
Ferry Vendors
Total ferries registered
Total schedules created
Upcoming schedules (future dates)
Trip-level inventory and bookings
Bookings arrive in your dashboard with status tracking — Processing (payment received, pending confirmation) → Confirmed (auto-confirmed 12h after payment, payout triggered) → Cancelled (if applicable). You can also manually confirm bookings before the 12-hour window.
Pricing Tips for More Bookings
Smart pricing is the most effective tool to fill slow periods without devaluing your peak-season rates. Here are strategies that work well for Andaman tourism businesses:
Price competitively for the season
Peak season (Nov–Mar) can support higher rates — demand exceeds supply. Shoulder months (Apr–May, Oct) benefit from slightly lower pricing to attract budget-conscious travelers. Monsoon (Jun–Sep) may require significant discounts to get any bookings at all.
Account for group economics
Groups of 4–8 book larger revenue in a single transaction. Consider setting a lower per-person price at higher capacities — a boat with 6 people at ₹1,500 each earns more than 2 people at ₹2,000. Adjust your inventory pricing to reflect this.
Keep your calendar accurate to avoid no-shows
If customers book a slot that's actually unavailable, the cancellation harms your reputation. Block dates well in advance — it is far better to show "unavailable" than to cancel a paid booking.
Write your inclusions clearly to justify your price
Travelers compare listings. A ₹4,500 scuba with equipment, photos, guide, and insurance clearly listed will outsell a ₹3,800 listing that says nothing. Detailed inclusions convert browsers into buyers.
